Yale Writer's Conference, Julia Quinn, Tana Jenkins, Romance Writer, Fantasy Writer,
Fifth Annual Yale Writer's Conference

After her short story, Little Black Ugly was nominated for a Pushcart, Tana Jenkins finally found the courage to take a break from her fifteen-year legal career to pursue her true passion - fiction writing.

She is currently revising her first novel, a speculative fiction romance titled, Midnight Beacon.

Midnight Beacon is a story about a visionary Green architect accused of arson. With the help of a handsome stranger, her investigation uncovers a series of dark secrets that ultimately thrust her center stage in an ancient battle between Gods who want to preserve the status quo and those who seek true liberation for all.

Book one of a three-book series, Midnight Beacon picks up the Black American Ancestral Call to 'remember when we were kings' echoing it with another call to the world to 'remember when we were each other.'

When Tana isn't writing, you can find her hard at work trying to channel alien life, plotting her next trip, or adoring her own real-life Prince Charming, Mr. Jenkins.
